Can anyone tell me why the temp recording folders would not be deleted after the recording is finished. If does not do it to all of the recordings.

Television recording?  What format do you record into?

Hi Yaobing thanks for your reply,
Yes it is my TV recordings.  I am using TS format. It looks like when the program is done recording and converted to the ts format the directory that it was using to keep all the jtv files does not get deleted.  I was gone this weekend and when I came back I had 400gb of files. 

Can you also confirm for me that the process is to record in jtv format and then converted to ts. Is this two separate processes??

Have you checked each folder and see how many files are there?

When you record in TS format, the TS file is written concurrently with the files in the folder.  When recording has finished, the folder should be deleted.  We do sometimes see a few files left in each folder, due to unknown cause.  I have been trying to figure that out for a long time but with no luck.  If it leaves more than a few files in each folder, it may be more than what I have been seeing.

Yes there are a lot of files. It looks like all the files are left behind.  As I said earlier I was gone for a weekend and it built up to about 400gigs of data.
