Hi, First sorry for my english. Are there any trackinfo in which appears the song that is playing with the rest of the album's songs? For example I am listening "Who wants to live forever" by Queen, I want to see this song and the other from the album "A Kind Of Magic". Is this possible?

Hi,
I have seen a track info called "all I need". In this trackinfo there is a field where it say "other songs in this album". Is posible with this field show the other songs from the same album? What field of the tag is showing?

It uses the User Library field "Songs" that you will need to create and then fill in. There may be some expressions that will automatically fill in the field for you but I'm not that familiar with expressions to know what they are.

I have created the field "songs". but I don't know how have I filled this field? I haved tried to fill it with the other songs from the album, but its very tired, i though that this field recognised the album and show the other songs.

here are the steps:

1.) Unpack the zip
2.) start xpTunes.exe
3.) choose Address and port (button ‚settings’)
4.) save values
5.) start Webserver
6.) copy folder 'xpTunes' from folder 'Copy2TrackInfo' to the folder 'Media Center 12\Visualizations\Track Info'.
7.) open file 'index.html' in copied folder ('Media Center 12\Visualizations\Track Info\xpTunes') and change "var url='http://192.168.178.21:8081/.......;" to your ip and port).
8.) choose xpTunes in JR (Track Info)

thats all.

it seems that the port (default 8081) is in use by another application (perhaps the build in JR-remoteserver) or you started xpTunes twice or your firewall blocks xpTunes.

You can change the port in xpTunes -> settings.

I'd like to build something like Amarok by mixing informations from Last.fm (see my trackinfo skin) and from the music library (other albums, other tracks from the current artist).

Imagine my current skin showing "similar track" from last.fm but with a clickable link to play the track that you do have in your library.

As an complete replacement for trackinfo i have to implement IE as an control or something.... and i'm not sure if i like this idea.
What's wrong to redirect trackInfo to xpTunes (like currently done) ?

I haven't tried this yet, but couldn't you just change it to "var url='http://localhost:8081/...;", or "var url='http://127.0.0.1:8081/...;", so it would work without modifications?

you're absolutely right... normally.
But xpTunes is developed as an remote server and the intention is that you can use every skin on every pc from everywhere -> so you have to change the redirect url to your xpTunes-Server ip (to use the trackinfo skin from everywhere).

But really good idea.
