OK I now keep all albums as single file rips (EAC rips.. MA uses CUE for APL) but...
In my previous ripping I was ripping direct to APE in /Arist /Album format... For some this was OK but unfortunately I have many mix albums. Now I consider a remix collection album mixed by a DJ to be the remixer / DJ as the artist but unfortunately CDDB does not... So I have 100's of DIR's with a single APE track in it as it sees
Thievery Corporation - FunDaMental as a different artist than
Thievery Corporation - Indian Vibes
Each with a DJ_Kicks_Thievery_Corporation sub folder...
So is there anyway to batch rebuild all my mix albums ?? I would not have minded if they were placed in a 'Various artist' category with a complete album in a folder below but this system has spread out far to many folders which was not my aim when trying to organize.. Also I would prefer to keep all album files in a single directory (the reason for /Album being at the end of my tree structure)...
