DVI out problems with Intel mobo
« on: April 10, 2008, 06:28:03 pm »

I've just installed an Intel DG33TL mobo in my HTPC, and I'm having problems with MC12 playing AVI files.  They start up fine on the VGA display, but when I try to drag the detached window to the plasma TV, I get the general Windows error "... Media Center will need to close ...".  I've tried several AVI files and all do the same thing(?)

Any thoughts? Any other info I can provide?
TIA  :)

It will not be much help but I have an Intel G33 based HTPC and it plays everthing just fine.  But I'm also on Vista, with only one display, using HDMI, to a Pio Plasma via a Yami Receiver.....so I don't think it will be your hardware....
