Volume adjustment in Theater View jumps to zero.
« on: April 23, 2008, 01:08:09 am »

Whenever I try to adjust the volume in theater view using the osd, it jumps to zero. Good thing it doesn't jump to 100 as my pc is connected directly to poweramps. It used to work nicely but has stopped. Probably after a upgrade but not sure when. Anyone else having this problem?

Nope. All good here. Maybe check your audio driver settings or even MC's audio playback settings. Maybe you inadvertently "knocked" something there?

It happens with both my audio devices. Onboard and addon card. And I can't see anything wrong in MC.
When audio is at 99% and I push right it goes to 100, when at 100% and pushing right, nothing happens. Pushing right when below 99% it jumps to zero. Pushing left jumps to zero always.
Using internal volume or system volume makes no difference. "ctrl +" and "ctrl -" works as expected.

What are you using to interpret the remote signals? It may be a little over-zealous.

I'm using a mobile phone through bluetooth, but it is the same when I use the keyboard.

Oh hang-on! ... Yes, I can reproduce this. Sorry, I missed the bit about using the OSD (Display View) in your original post.

Seems like a problem for sure...

Thanks. I should have been more precise in my post. I'm also having trouble with the 'saturation' 'hue' and 'brightness' in the same osd menu. A notch in either direction results in very wrong colours. Almost greyscale in appearance. Maybe it is related?

Latest build fixed the volume problem for me. :)
Hue, brightness and saturation has still problems though.
