Hiya,

New and love these programs.  Customizable and sleek and slick and smart.  I was a huge fan of iTunes but got sick and tired of the large downloads and issues with updates and having it rooted so deep into my system.  I think it was the cause of system crashes and even instant shutdowns at time.  Not with this software.  YAY!!

OK, my question is simple.  I have been really working at getting all my playlists and odds and ends from iTunes re organized and properly set up in Jukebox but since I have updated I now have a whole new program.  I think I would have liked an upgrade to the Jukebox instead while it retained my playlists and prefs... oh well.   So how do I get all my goodies from Jukebox to Media Center??

Thanks for your help and thanks for this fabulous program! :)

All the best,
Richard ;-)~

Create a library backup file in Media Jukebox and restore the file in Media Center. The Backup and Restore tools are in the File > Library menu.

If your Media Center version is from an older time than your Media Jukebox version you may need to update Media Center first.

OK, that worked perfectly.

I have another question.  Are there any plans to update Media Center to include it's own Favorite Bookmarks and possibly tabbed interface??  This is an idea that's pretty cool included in Mozilla's "Songbird" media player (which seems to be virtually in beta since I've been using it off and on  :-\ )  Having access to bookmarks and tabs really comes in handy when you have more than one operation going within the interface.  ;)

I guess it's OK then to uninstall the Jukebox version to free up diskspace since I got the Media Center doing it all now??

Thanks much

Richard ;-)~
