Resource Strings for Aux Data Sites
« on: July 31, 2002, 02:04:44 pm »

Hi all,

After some quick scratching about I didn't find the answer - perhaps I've been sitting in front of my computer to many hours in a row.

I want to play around with trying differnet sites to retrive album covers and other information automatically.

I was hoping to find a registry string I could change (say the HTTP template used for searches). Is there a way for me to do this without editing the binary MJ.exe image directly? Does J River mind/care if I do that for my own use?

thanks

In the interest of calmness I add this bit. Clearly an advanced computer user could edit a binary image and IMO has the right to do so, this is in my view clearly on the friendly side of the line. The gray area may being around advertising or making available mods. if J River does not approve then I may still do it for myself, of course, but I would respect your wishes and not disclose / enable the masses to do so.

Editing the binary file will cause undesirable side effects.

You can visit any site, right click on an image, and then paste it into the image window.
