I am considering buying a Macbook.
One thing that is worrying is that I have not yet been able to find a good media player.
It seems Itunes is the only reasonable option when it comes to organising features.
Although it does not at all compare to MC.
Because I will be keeping my music on a windows machine anyway, I was thinking: what about enabling MC to serve to Itunes and try to implement as many features as possible, including smart playlist, on-the-fly replaygain to soundcheck calculation and on-the-fly coverart (not sure what that would be).
Wouldn't that be nice?
I got this idea from a nice programm called Firefly Media Server, which is a server that can be installed on any platform (Linux, Windows, OS etc) and allows streaming to Itunes shared libraries.
