multiple creations when ripping
« on: June 09, 2008, 07:22:31 pm »

on some albums I rip using J Rivers the program is separating some songs as separate albums with the same name ( i.e. one with 3 of the song ripped, another 2 songs separate and some other separate too).

What should I do to avoid this and how can I correct the already separated into one single record as it should be?

thanks

I noticed that in one of the instances when J River separated the tracks, it does it by artists, its a compillation album with several artists.  how can I regroup by album in the media window with the cover arts?

You would need to organize your libary so that MC detects the albums as complete and use the [Album Artist (auto)] field instead of [Artist] in the view scheme and filename rules.
