I just downloaded the software yesterday and a new user to the software. I am getting the exact same message when ripping but am using different hardware. The drives are Pioneer DVR-104 DVD Writer, HP 100i DVD|PLS|RW Writer, and a Zip 250 USB writer. I am loading all three drives with CD's and letting them rip one after the other. When this error occurs, I just close the program and swap the CD's around into a different drive and then try to rip again. It almost always works. However, using AudioGrabber , WinAmp or WMP8, the problem doesn't manifest itself so it is definitely not a CD / Drive problem and a probably a software bug.
One other thing I noticed is that with three drives loaded, one often does not resolve the info from the CDDB. I have to click on the drive and manually ask it to reconnect to the CDDB for the info. With one disc loaded it is usually OK. I tried to adjust the CDDB timeout but it made no difference.
Other than that I am enjoying the software and plan on registering it soon. Lots of really cool features.
