can't play dvds
« on: July 23, 2008, 08:35:03 pm »

Heres the two errors i get when trying to play dvds.  The first one: The track named 'VIDEO_TS' cannot be played because the volume labeled 'Unnamed Disc' was not found. Would you like to try again?

And the second one: Media Center was unable to play any of the files.  Please make sure that the path in Media Library points to the right location and that the files are not being filtered by Access Control.

Please help me out I bought this to play dvds on my computer and it isn't even working.  Thanks!

Can you try the following:
File->Open Media File
and then locate the VIDEO_TS.IFO file.
Does it play?

Is it a network path //myserver/mount/folder/...
or is it a local path like d:/My Videos/folder/...
