Is there a way on renaming view schemes, i.e. the name of an album within the album view scheme from automation object? I can do it manually but need to be able to do it from VB.

I might not even need to do it from software if there's a way of getting MJ to prompt for Album name and Artist when it rips a cd rather than just lump it all the albums together in the unassigned scheme.

You can change or set the album, artist, track name, etc before you rip by just editing the text in the right window after inserting your CD.  You can either right-click and select "Rename", or bring up the properties window and rename the fields there.  Rip when it looks the way you want it.
