Error starting Direct 3D engine [solved]
« on: September 12, 2008, 11:32:48 pm »

my media server has started throwing a wobbly on Theatre View. It's using 2 older dual VGA nVidea FX5200 video cards (w/3 screens) and used to run Theatre View fine, but I havent' run  it on their for ages, and now I'm on 12.0.533 it throws a "Error starting Direct 3D engine" and then crashes out.  Any ideas ?

Try installing the latest graphics drivers.

Also, do 3D visualizations work?  They use the same basic system, so it's a good test.

Thanks.
