Portable Drive - 3.0.16 Plug-in...to fixed volume
« on: July 26, 2002, 06:38:21 pm »

This should work right?

I have installed the plug in and configured the plug-in volume label to match that of my F: drive, "iPod Mirror"(guess what I am trying to do). When I right click on a file or playlist and go to Send>Device>F: (that would seem to indicate that MJ knows where to direct things). However, when I do try to send a file to F:...nothing goes there.

Is there something I am missing? Seems pretty straight forward to me. Anyone else use the Portable Drive - 3.0.16 plug-in?

I'm not up to speed on handheld exports, but I know it's a two step process.  Queue first, then write.  You might check Help in MJ.

J-Ro,

What were you using to connect with your i-pod? Have you been successful in sending files to the proper music directories rather than just to the root?

If you have discovered the key to using mj8 and your ipod, please tell more!
