I am new to Theater View usage.
Have installed MC13.0.91. NOw am testing my brand-new touch screen in combination with the new obsidian skin.

Would like to navigate in thumbnail views, however at this moment the operation is not possible with mouse or touchscreen, only keyboard via arrow-keys..

Error description:
- The thumbnail focus will NOT change & follow the mouse pointer,  when I am moving the mouse pointer over various thumbs
- with touch screen: when I directly touch one thumbnail, the focus does not change to that chosen thumbnail

This leads to the situation that when I do a single click (or point in the touch screen) on one thumb in order to navigate one level down, MC will keep the focus on the previously selected thumg (often the upper most left thumb), and hence then display the lower level list of thumbs accordingly - e.g. all artists instead of the one specific I have pointed to.

I have tested this now for several hours, changed options in the Theater View...
Exactly two times I managed that the focus would follow my mouse / touch (Desired behaviour). But then suddenly it was gone again. By the way, it appears not to be an issue of obsidian skin, because same happens also in Acajou skin.

Any idea what could be wrong in my setup?

I don't think the new Theater View's mouse navigation is completely finished in the current public build.  However, I believe something else might be going on in your case, as Theater View does not behave quite like that for me.

That said... Have you tried "double tapping" to open?  I'm not sure if Theater View's mousing setup is designed quite like you expect.  I think it may require a double-click to activate thumbnails.

It's a bug, but we're not sure why yet.  I had it happen at home once, but haven't seen it since.

The selection should follow the mouse cursor.  Single-click should open things.

Great news, hope the bug can be found... would love to use it over Christmas.

Same here. Pointer doesnt work at all.  Even when I double whack it.  Only the curser moves the selection.  Started with .91 I think.

Try a different Skin, I found that Glass and the Noire work with the mouse the others do not and I have the same issues you all describe. Niether of these are the skin I want but will work until the others are fixed.

In the meantime I re-installed .82 and this works fine, also with my touchscreen.
Waiting that this will be fixed in some future version.
