Sometimes album thumbnails are separated by a large space, which I cannot get rid of.
It just comes in once in a while, and changing none of the settings helps.
I am pretty sure this is a bug, the view does not follow the settings (I have space between thumbnails set to 0).
Any help?

In your view scheme (in the tree), right click to Edit, and look at the "Pick Files To Option" at bottom right. Matt told me that the sort options can affect the size of thumbnails.

Not sure why, but I set sort directly "in" the view scheme via the drop down menu. I erase everything ("no modification") in the aforementioned option and it usually fixes the issue. Seems like what happens is "widescreen" thumbnails don't get drawn properly and space out the tiles. A bug? ...seems like one

Another possability:

check your master view scheme, especially if you have sub-schemes with the problem that use the option to "Honor parent scheme search strings".

It may be that Audio has 16 set to width and a sub-scheme is using that; not sure if that's even possible in MC (I haven't yet checked), just a thought.
