Rename "Filename" from "Name"
« on: October 27, 2008, 11:05:31 am »

Is there a way to rename your "Filename" from "Name" like there is the reverse?  It would be nice to touch the files in a mass way instead of having to do it manually.

Just a thought!

you mean, you want to rename your files based on the names in mc?
that is possible. try one first. rightclick on it and choose library tools>rename, move & copy files.
choose rename and make some rules for directory and file names. when it does what you like, you can do it on a lot at the same time.
but make sure you keep your head at the task at hand.
when you are not sure about a rule, post it here.
