Can MC12 act as a media server

I have recently bought a Playstation 3 and see that I can access media on my PC using Windows Media Centre, play dvds, music etc from my living room. Can I use J River Media Centre as a media server as that's what I use to manage my media? I believe you can just not sure how to do it? Any help much appreciated.
