I'm trying to set up media server on my machine. The network is connected via a switch to a broadband (ADSL) network and it seems, that Media Server catches the IP of the (external) connection and not the IP from the supposed-to-be-server.
So I'm not able to either set up Webremote nor media server nor the funny program beginning with g...
E.g.: Machine 1 (192.168.10.11) should be server. The connection ADSL gets a.b.c.d (<> 192.168.x.y.). So the Media Server seems to bind to a.b.c.d and not 192.168.10.11.
Am I able to force Media Server to one special connection? This should happen with 2 ethernet-cards also, I think.
System: Using the newest MJ. The server runs XP, the clients sometimes win2k sometimes XP. 100mbit-ethernet network with original 3com-cards. Switch from... ähh... don't know, but they do their job :-) Uplink to DSL via DSL-Modem.
Thanks.
