Removing Version 12 after Installing Version 13 Over It
« on: October 30, 2008, 09:19:23 pm »

Now that I successfully downloaded and installed version 13.0.62 over my version 12 MC and also purchased the $15 license and installed that, can I safely uninstall version 12? What about the libraries? The Version 12 uninstall dialog asks if I want to uninstall them.

It never hurts to make a library backup before uninstalling or doing other system changes just to be safe, but MC 12 and MC 13 should be totally independent.  It's important not to install them to the same folder on the hard drive (I hope the installer wouldn't allow this, but I'm not certain).
