Robo983: Unhandled exception -- program crashing
« on: November 14, 2008, 11:44:21 pm »

I can not seem to figure this one out. I have tried to run MC 13 on two differenent PCs and continue to get a crash when doing an Auto import of the music. I have created new Libraries starting from scratch and the one I imported from 12 that now will not work with 12.

MC13 had been working fine for me until I tried to do an Auto import now I can not seem to keep it running 5 minutes unless I open a new Library. Seems once I run the auto import and it crashes something gets corrupted in that library and it will not work at all. I put my System info at the bottom and have the log files I can send. Below is just the few lines at the end of the log file.

Thanks for the logs.

One of the crashes shows a problem decoding:
W:\Music Master\Music\D\Douglas Adams\The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy\12-What We Find Is This...-Douglas Adams.mp3

I'm not certain that's the only problem, but it would be good to start there.  Could you email me a copy of that file? (matt at jriver dot com)

Unhandled exception -- program crashing

I will email the file but now I can not get MC13 to crash after creating a new MC12 library and importing the same folder using MC12 to analyze the music. What ever must have been causing MC13 to hang MC12 took no problems and fixed so that now MC13 work. I could consistently reproduce the crash until MC12 fixed what ever the problem was. I even tried to reload MC13 but still got the crashes.

I may have an older backup of this file I will look for at home but for now I will send you the one I have.
