Almost 5 Star Niftyness... but not quite.
« on: November 18, 2008, 01:23:30 pm »

Earlier I ripped a new CD on my work computer, in Monkeys Audio Format using MC 12.
Dragged and dropped the files on to my Cowon D2, which worked a treat.
I then listened to the files on the way home, and when I got home I thought wouldn't it be neat if I could now
plug my D2 into my computer and have the option to transfer the files straight into my library.

So loaded up MC and opened the D2 and low and behold with a right click theres this funky option to "Transfer files to PC"
So I clicked it and it loads up this dialogue which looks pretty good allowing you to select path and path format.  Which was pretty good,
what would have been better is if it had defaulted or at least allowed me to select the paths the way I have setup for ripping from CD's.

Click OK.  and here's where the niftyness fell down.  A windows File copy dialogue pops up, and MC freezes and displays not responding while Windows performs the copy.  The copy did work however.  I give it 4 stars but could do better  ;)
