When I first enabled this field, it seemed that the count would only increment after a track had played to the end, and that interrupting the playing of a track would NOT increment the Number Plays field.

Now I'm a bit confused, because the Number Plays field increments even when I manually stop playing a track. I stop playing a track by clicking the Player's Stop button.

How can I make the field increment only when the track has played to the end?

If a track is played past the half-way point, it will be counted as a play.  Otherwise it will be counted as a skip.

This is not configurable.
