How to get the Multiple Artists back?
« on: November 29, 2008, 01:38:20 am »

I customized my audio view to show thumbnails by artist.  In MC12, the first artist was always the "Multiple Artists".  MC13 now shows each artist of a Various Artists CD as an individual artist with just that one song listed under the album file list.

Can I get MC13 to behave like MC12 and show these only under multiple artists?

Thanks.

Is your view grouping by artist or album?

I had a similar problem before. It turns out I had one track in the folder that was assigned to a specific artist. To fix it, I had to first do a search in MC to find all tracks in the directory (don't forget you need to have all files in the same directory and tagged with the track number with no missing tracks). I then deleted all of the tracks from MC (library only). Then re-import them (uncheck 'Ignore files previously removed from library'). This worked for me.

Thanks.  Seems that the standard view of Artist-Album doesn't show it, but when I create a new library view and click the pre-built artist album view, it then show multiple artists as the first artist.
