I am trying to install J R Jukebox which I downloaded from the JRiver ftp site.  The download goes OK but the install hangs up almost immediately @ "Installing KB902344 MTP Hotfix".  I have turned off all internet security and av software and deleted all temp files from my IE browser.  Operating system is Windows XP. Any ideas?  I can navigate my way around the PC but I am an old fogey, not a "digital native"!  TIA

Did you try doing a check for updates on Windows?  IE/Tools/Windows Update.

Try a google search for that fix at Microsoft and try installing it directly.

OK, I updated Windows XP to SP3 and uninstalled every spyware/malware/adware program.  Still hangs up at same point.  Eventually get "Program not responding" in the install wizard window.
