On my server, if I try to launch MC from the shortcut, it shows a box with "Critical Error" in the titlebar but no content and just an OK button. If I finish an install and let it launch MC, it doesn't show this error and starts properly. I have also tried double clicking the MC13 exe and it still gives the error.
I recently had to remove 1 of two gigabyte memory sticks because it was going bad and causing repeated BSOD <- horrifying on my server.
