Keyboard Shortcut list
« on: January 10, 2009, 10:03:18 pm »

Is there a list of keyboard shortcuts for Media Center somewhere?  I have 3 extra unused buttons on my remote controls and would like to see a complete list to see what I could use with these extra buttons.

It was under Keyboard Hot-Keys.  I had searched for Keyboard Shortcuts.  I'm not used to the term hot-keys.  Here's the link:

Changing the rating:
Shift + Ctrl + 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5    Change rating of currently playing file to none, 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5

Does not appear to work with the numeric keypad.  Could this be allowed, too?  Thanks.

I had three questionable buttons.  The first one, I left as a mute button because it is labeled that way and makes sense.  The second is to the right of an asterisk button.  I us the asterisk for back so, naturally, this button could be forward.  I found this shortcut on that page.  Finally, the pause button is not needed because Play doubles as play and pause.  I turned this into a Display Mode button - Ctrl + 3.  So, when I start music and want to jump to display mode, it's a quick button push instead of jumping through the interface.
