I bought MC13 because it supposedly had better support for ipods. My ipod video has always been detected by MC (both 12 and 13) as a 4 gb ipod nano (white). It is NOT. Serial number ending in SZT is a model PA002LL (according to the info screen, model A1136 according to the case), which is a white 30 gb ipod video. MC (12 or 13) is NOT writing a database which is compatible with my ipod, as it shows no songs on it after syncing (the songs ARE detected by itunes, which writes a correct database, but I'd rather not even have itunes on my computer, let alone have to add songs in MC and then have itunes write the correct database).

When will this bug (incorrectly identified ipod) in MC get fixed so I can use my ipod with MC and ONLY MC? I posted to the "help us identify ipod" thread, but apparently it's being ignored.
