RIPPING CD ERROR
« on: May 02, 2003, 11:25:44 am »

I'm having problems ripping cds- every time I try it gets right to the end of the tracks and then gives an error message: DEVICE ERROR 1051 ERROR DATA KEY:5 ASC 38ASCQ:0.
I am running Windows 2000 and have downloaded ASPI 4.70 driver to try to sort it.
Help!

The latest Adaptec ASPI I'm aware of is 4.7.1.2. Try that (make sure MJ is NOT running when you update). If your still having trouble post your sys info from MJ>Help>System Info.
