select in Theater View?

i used select in Theater View in the past. but i cant recall how and why. when i select a file it gets a v but then?

found it. you can select two or more files from a list for playback. that i did not found that first was because i tried to select two files from different lists. but that does not work.
there one interesting thing. there is a select option, when you have selected one file, there is suddenly also a select all option.

While in Theater View file lists, "select mode" allows you to select files quickly by simply using the right arrow key. It works really well and I use it all the time to delete tv shows after I've watched them.

Unfortunately, delete has been removed from the playing now context menu which I really miss. Even if it only appeared when in "select mode" - this would be more than fine.
