Playlist in Theater View
« on: March 02, 2009, 07:31:09 am »

Hello,

I'm trying to organize what is accessible and display in Theater view mode.
It work ok regarding normal view. but I cannot find any way to configure it regarding the Playlist
Is it possible to customize/organize which playlist we want to have access ?

In"Item to show" Playlist is not editable.
Thanks

The Playlists you have setup in Standard View is the same list that appears Theater View. There's no way of controlling what playlists are shown for Theater View in the "Items to show" options.

In Standard View, you could organise playlists specific to Theater View in a dedicated "Theater View" folder. This might help a little.

and you could make a new root in thv, and point me the views to playlists or playlist groups, just pic what you like. some of the nice new things in 13. but this does not work for forinstance recent plays.

Thanks for  both reply.

Regarding your solution Gab, it is not applicable because when you select a playlist in a root item as you recommanded, the playlist is only used to filter the item, not to play it.
For example if you have a play list with a specific seq order and some pictures or tracks occuring several time, this information is lost. you annot used the sequence of the playlist.

I currently use your solution raym, but it would be good if we could "hide" some of the playlist in the theater view.
