Hi I've got a 4x USB Mitsumi CD-RW drive (a piece of crap, I know, but it was cheap) and I keep getting errors when I try to burn in MJ. It seems to work fine with the included crappy software (Prassi PrimoCD Plus), but no dice with MJ.

The error codes I've received are:

5  24  00 - Invalid code in cdb
5  64  00 - Illegal mode for this track

I've installed the Windows XP ASPI drivers that MJ recommends, but for some reasons it will still only let me use the generic driver, although it is on the list of drives MJ supports.

Any thoughts?

i have never seen that error before BUT are you useing the latest version of MJ (8.0.331) if not try download it and install it

but lets see what the MJ developers says

Yep I made sure I had the newest version before I posted

Oh and BTW I tried turning off autoplay, still didn't work
