playback behaviour
« on: March 07, 2009, 08:18:00 am »

hello all

i bought j river 13 because i believe it is a very good player one can customize in many ways. thank you for this forum.

i have a recent problem with playback : when i am play on an audio view, playback does not start with track order but in alphabetical order (i press play and the song which begin with a for example starts first instead of song #1). i would like to have it back by track order.

i have another behaviour problem with volume : when i press on Ctrl;+ or Ctrl;- to increase or decrease volume, the program does not answer with fluidity so i don't see the volume increase or decrease well.

i thank for your answers.
regards.

Welcome to the forum.

Maybe shuffle is on.  It's a button in the upper right.

Explore the playback behavior options (under Tools/Options/General).

Try changing the volume MC controls.  Click on the small speaker icon next to the volume slider (upper left).

here are my options :

here is the playback problem :

when i click on play in aka moon album for example. it is not the first song that begin but "bill's dream" because it is the first song by alphabetical order (shuffle is off and options seem to be okay).
