MC13 Library Duplicates
« on: March 08, 2009, 04:51:49 pm »

I have not been able to solve a problem with duplicate files in MC13.
I have two ReayNAS devices on my network.  One is dedicated to the music server running MC13 and the other is a backup including other media.
I have configured MC13 to go to the dedicated NAS but it still picks up files from the other NAS.  I have even added the second NAS as an EXCLUDE directory.
Can anyone help me find the secret switch to make sure only the dedicated NAS is used to build the library?

Try the following: turn off your NAS (the one with the wrong file) and run "Library->Auto-Import Now". Be sure to have set "Fix broken links: YES".

MC will not search in locations you have excluded, but will keep files as long as they are there - even if they are in excluded folders.

Set the file locations to your one NAS.  Does it somehow link them together?  I have never experienced MC saving things in two random locations.  Just set music, video, picture, and television recording locations to your first NAS.

How do you access it?  A drive letter, ip address, //name ?
