This isn't difficult to create I believe when you know what you're doing,
but it would probably be a good idea to provide a Windows shortcut to Theater View when Media Center is installed.

If you start Windows Media Center it's a one click thing, similar with Front View and others I suspect.

can this be done manually after the install? if someone knows how to create a shortcut to the new and improved theater view on ym desktop, i'd love to know how it was done.

Just copy the original MC13 icon and rename it to "MC13 TheaterView" (or something like that).  Then right-click on it and select Properties.  Under the Shortcut tab, change the Target to: "MC13.exe /Mode Theater"

That should do it.
