OGG on my face
« on: July 17, 2002, 06:01:12 am »

Using 8.0.329 ... still have burner problems (digital rips won't happen) but anyway ...

I've pulled a couple of CDs off into OGG format. With the exception of an error pulling down cut 1 (happened each time I tried) the cuts are properly saved, etc. I go to play them back and everything works visually ... play action bar moves, time runs, visualizations happen ... just no audio. No that's a problem! What am I doing wrong?

Do other files play?  I'm sure you checked, but I have to ask.

Muted volume?

Wav level set down in Windows audio controls?

You might try ripping to raw wav and see if you can play the files.  If that works, then conver them to ogg and see what happens.  Just to narrow down where the problem is.
