i don't know if its just in my settings or if its a bug, but when i add an album from my library to playing now, it automatically sorts all the songs by rating, which is VERY annoying. i tried every setting i could, it still does it. i'm running 13.0.152. thanks for your help!

when you rightclick on playing now and choose customize view, could it be that the files are set to be sorted by rating? if so, set it to default.

no, its not that. its set to default and i tried also some other settings. what i also  found out: when i drag and drop files from an external window (explorer) to playing now, they are sorted by track number, but not when i add them from inside media center...

When you add from inside Media Center, sorting should always honor the sorting you have set in the view.  So you may just need to use "Customize View..." to define the sorting that you prefer.

its really strange. when i change the view it sorts all files according to that setting (random, by track number, etc) but ONLY when they have the same rating. files with rating 5 always come first, no mater what the view says, then the files with rating 4 and so on...they are only sorted according to the view inside the same rating...
