Hi everyone,

This is a bit silly, but I just wondered if anyone has tried using a netbook as a portable music player, and how they organise it.

What I mean is, a netbook can play music, and probably has less space then needed to hold a full music library, so it seems functionally similar to an iPod or whatever, except you'd be syncing over a network rather than through USB.  This is assuming you want constantly changing sets of music, like playlists, rather than just whole albums (which would be easier done just by manually copying the files over).

Does anyone have any thoughts on how to manage this?  i.e. can MC be tricked into seeing a folder on the netbook as a device somehow?

I just thought I'd ask before I spent too much time failing to find the right setting
