How to stop "full screen" video playing behaviour?

Hi

everytime I play my videos they play in full screen mode. I really do not like this default behaviour. I went through settings and cannot find a way to  change it. I want to play in "stay on top " framed window.

Try Options/General/Behavior.

JimH thanks for the tip. That resolves one part of the problem. The current issue now is that everytime I restart MC the window is detached to the layout. I want it to be detached and kept at that state at all times.

In the options for Startup, try "Last Location".  I'm not sure if it will work.
