is there any way to disable the search wizard?
« on: May 07, 2009, 09:11:19 am »

when in standard view, out of habit i'll type my search string in and press enter which often limits my result more than i'd like (a lot of times i'll only get the self-titled album of an artist that i'm searching for all songs for...) this is because the album "Daughtry" is selected when I'm trying to find all songs by Daughtry. I don't use the search wizard anyways, so I was curious if there was a way to disable it completely and have MC respond in a more "normal" way to searches. I've tried to train myself to simply not hit enter when I'm done entering a search string, but habits are habits...

Agreed.  Would be nice to have an option to turn it off.

After typing your search into the search bar, you can hit "Shift+Enter" to play the search results.

Does that help any?
