Theater View keeps crashing MC13 [solved]
« on: May 18, 2009, 03:08:17 pm »

I can open up and use all views of MC13 with the exception of theater view.  Every time I open theater view, it gets the shutdown notice.  I am not sure if it is my system?  I am posting a link to the motherboard I am using. It says it supports 3D graphics, so I cant see why it would keep crashing.  Any thoughts?

Thank you

Try updating DirectX from Microsoft.

It would also be a good idea to make sure you have up to date video drivers.  And if neither one works enable logging and email us a crash log.  (Logging is under the help menu.)

Hmmm, going to have to try that. On my desktpo machine, Theatre View blues screens me. It used to on the HTPC as well, until I turned off the advanced graphics feature. That's with a 9600GT, so it should handle anti-aliasing etc. at 1080p no problem.
