digital tuner wont tune

when i try to tune my digital tv the scanning screen just freezes and nothing happens. analogue tuner works fine. any help would be great cheers

What tuner do you have?  Try updating its driver.

Some additional information might get you a more useful reply....

Operating system, MC version, tuner type, ATSC/DVB-T and  turn on logging (Help, Logging) and post the tail of the log when the freeze happens.

mc is 13,  operating system is windows xp,  type of tuner is hauppauge wintv-HVR 713X BDA DVBT

Get the latest build of MC13 from the top of the MC13 board.  It's 13.0.169.

i have done all the above. now it tunes and finds all didgital channels for my area but now there is no picture or sound just blank screen for all channels

Also, go to TV view, click Configure... > Settings... > Copy television related filter info to clipboard.  Paste the result here, or paste it in the email to me.
