Build 276 "Adding Artists"

Can anyone help? I am used to manually adding new artists and albums on the left hand tree by right-clicking and "adding an artist", etc. This is not an option anymore in ver8. So how is it done?

You can edit the properties with a right click on the file(s).  This creates an artist and album.

I right click the file and it takes me to "track properties" but this doesn't seem to have anything to do with adding an artist. Can you help me with a little more detail??

Also, isn't there some way to do it the way it used to be in versions 3 through 7?? It was sooooo easy. I just right clicked "Album" and there was this great thing called "Add Album". Same with Artist. I like adding this BEFORE I actually import the music.

I think they are 60 or so revisions past the version you have.

you might want to update to 8.0.331
