Anyone have any experience with this unit? Am looking at various alternatives for linking my computer (upstairs) with audio components (downstairs). Hard-wiring a definite non-starter.

Thanks.

FWIW I do a fair amount of integration & work often with folks who do a bunch, and we all are not fans of LinkSys.  My experiance has been that thier products don't quite do all they are supposed to, and can often be flaky and/or quirky, such as you might get it to behave, but you will spend hours futzing.  Be interested to know how you make out.

I've had good luck with Linksys equipment.  I think they've gotten better over the years.

Latest prices: $80 COMPUSA, $75 from on-line vendors. So, while I don't like to throw money away, not as great a risk as one might think.

Alonso:  I'll let you know. It may be a while.
