What's up with emusic ?
« on: July 14, 2002, 01:54:34 pm »

Hi folks,

Today, I can't get any album, nor single file from emusic !

Not with MJ Download Manager, not with Freeamp, not even with
FlashGet (for single files).

Is it on my side or does someone else face the same problem ?
Do they close their servers on Sunday ?

Yves.

Salut

Les nouveaux albums sont pour les USA seulement
Tou dois avoir en haut de la fenetre avec tous les titres des songs un note:
'not avaible outside North America due to licencing restrictions'
Tous les autres tu peux les descendre.
Je pense que 'ton probleme' est que tu essayes de decendre des 'USA only"

To others, the same storie,so faster in french

Merci Zev,

Mais même un album que j'ai déjà téléchargé ne passe pas !

Even older albums or files : can't get anything !

When Download Manager has previously been open, I get this message : Failed to load http://tip.emusic.com/request/....

If Download manager has not been open, he does'nt open when clicking the Download entire album button, and the most strange is that
I'm taken back to emusic's home page

Je n'y comprend plus rien !!!

Fastyves,
Try logging in again.  They changed their system and you may have an old cookie.

Hi Jim,

Thanks for your advice, but since they changed their system,
I have to log in again each time I visit their site !

(This strange problem only happens from this morning on, and I
upgraded yesterday evening from 8.236 > 8.0.237 - mais pas de
conclusions hâtives !
)

Yves.

I checked (dubble checked) my account at emusic, the file association in Download Manager, my connection, even the content of my glass

Everything seems to be OK ! What's next ?
