I'm looking for a remote control which can rate songs as I'm listening to my collection.

Also, I would like one that can work from quite far away so I can have my computer tucked in my room but be able to change/rate songs while I am outside on my porch for example.

I've done it with an ATI Remote Wonder II remote and also with a logitech harmony remote.
I just mapped pressing the "3" button to execute an MCC command to change current track rating to 3.
