This is a request I've had lurking in the back of my mind (aka The Cavern) for a while now... That being multiple library loads.

In my situation, which I shouldn't imagine would be too unusual, we have a master library (the server), my transient library (stuff that I'm mucking about with / using on my laptop), and my wife's library which she uses for work (on her lappy - she is a musician). On top of this, we have desktops and a HTPC which are generally connected to the library server. The issues come when we want to access stuff on this library or that library from any given machine. 

It would be very nice to be able to tell MC to load multiple libraries simultaneously, and set the default one on startup. This would allow libraries customised for a particular use/family member, ideally cross library searching and reduced pollution of master libraries with either transient or specific use media - without having to muck about creating overly complex view schemes and filters.

Now, I know it's easy enough now to load another library, or to put a command in Theater View to switch to another library, but it would be nice to have the ability to just flick between the libraries as required - without having to wait for them to load each time.

Having the libraries cached would also be nice, so it only has to re-download from the library server changes, rather than the whole library.

Note that I am not suggesting merging the libraries at all. This would not be nice.

I know this is probably not the easiest (or possibly most desirable) thing to implement, but I thought I'd raise it and see how many others are interested

i like this idea mainly for when on the road, and using jriver so i can choose a diffrent library then the one that is loaded on server.
