hi guys,

just wanted to ask how I can change the parameter "data type" of the database field "Instrument" from "String" to "List (semicolon delimited)", nothing else

please advise!

It's not possible to change basic information about stock fields.  You can create a new field and copy data from the stock field to your custom field.

ok, Matt, thanks for the info

you guys should probably think about this database field "Instrument"... in classical music it's often the case that you need more than one instrument in the same music piece... e.g. "flute" AND "viola da gamba" AND "basso continuo"... so a list oriented field would make a lot more sense IMHO

but I can create such a field easily myself too, not a problem, just would have been a bit quicker and easier :)
