What could explain this library action

I just got a BRAND new computer. Installed Media Jukebox 12.
Copied 6444 files from backup drive to a local directory.
Import says, "Library now has 6444 files....Imported 3476 new files".
Why the discrepency?

So odd. I experienced the same today. The library was totally empty on beforehand, but when I imported over 7000 files it said 4851 NEW files was imported. Must be a bug.

Why has noone answered to this one? :/

i have no idea, maybe autoimport was already running in the background before the others where imported manually?
