registration code

I purchased media jukebox yesterday. The registration code they sent me will not install. A window comes up saying "code failure".

Please see the FAQ above for details.

The registration code is only needed for a restore.  The install key is installed automatically when you purchase.  If you want to use it on multiple PC's, you can right click on the install key and save it as a file.  Each install key is good for 2 weeks.

In MJ Help, check Registration Info.  It should tell you that you're licensed.

If you have more problems, please post your system info here by going to MJ Help to copy it and then pasting it here.

You said in your reply that "the install key is installed automatically when you purchase".  This did not happen.  I have tried to copy the system info from the Help menu to here, but that does not work either. When systems info comes up, I right click.  The only highlighted work is "select all".  I select all, then right click again.  The only highlighted word that comes up is "copy".  I click on it, and try to paste it here, but the "paste" word is not highlighted.  This is causing extreme frustration.  What am I doing wrong?

System info is in MJ under Help.  Choose it, then choose copy to clipboard.  When you are typing a message, do a ctrl-v to paste it into your message.

When you are trying to install, you need enough rights on your Windows system to be able to write the registry.

That's OK.  It copied your system info.  Now try a control-v (both keys at the same time) to paste it into a message here.

I'm going out on the lake for a while.  It's a perfect night, with the sun going down in a couple hours.  Will someone else try to help?

Dave, don't worry.  We'll get you going.  If the restores are a problem, we can reset them.

Thanks,

Jim

Jim, I tried your last reply, but it did not work.  I noticed that it was running under Windows 95 whilst I am running Windows XP home.  Then I reset it under compatability wizard back to Windows XP, and everything is fine now, except my Restore codes are down to 3.  Can you please restore my codes back to 6.  Many thanks...Dave.

I don't see why you just don't right click on it and then select save to disk and you will not need to keep using them.

that is in the directions jim pointed out to you.
